Transfer to Kuching for overnight hotel stay.

Kuching

Kuching, the capital of Sarawak on Malaysia’s Borneo island, is a relaxed riverside city blending colonial charm with rich indigenous culture. Set along the Sarawak River, it features colorful heritage buildings, lively waterfront promenades, and the iconic Cat statues. Visitors can explore nearby rainforests, meet orangutans at Semenggoh, and enjoy diverse local cuisine, making Kuching a unique gateway to Borneo’s natural and cultural treasures.

A further two nights in the hotel. Sarawak Cultural Village Tour (4 hours). Today, escape the modern world and head to the foothills of Mount Santubong at Damai Beach. There you will visit the Sarawak Cultural Village. This is a museum village that provides insight into the traditional culture and way of life of the indigenous tribes of Borneo. 

 

Bako National Park Explorer tour (5 hours with lunch incuded) . Today's destination is Bako National Park, which is made up of seven different rainforest ecosystems that offer a remarkable diversity of animal and plant species.

Kota Kinabalu (Borneo)

Kota Kinabalu is a main port of call on the island of Borneo surrounded by a rainforest and features beaches with a modern boardwalk and bustling market-places. Perhaps visit nearby Kinabalu National Park, which is home to Mount Kinabalu at 4,095m.

A further overnight hotel stay. Enjoy a Kiulu Valley Farm Experience (6 hours) ,Embedded in rice fields, the Kiulu River and its lush green nature, the Eco-Farm offers the best conditions for an unforgettable experience far away from the urban jungle.Take a village walk through the original valley along rice fields, plantations and orchards. I

Fly to Sandakan for a 3 night / 2 day adventure of Turtle Island  for 1 night and the Borneo Nature Lodge Lodge for the second night. At 09:30 AM in Sandakan the boat departs for the Turtle Island of Selingan which lies 40km north of Sandakan in the Sulu Sea off Sabah's east coast. Selingan Island is the main nesting area for the green turtles. A day of relaxation for you to swim or snorkel at the island. After dinner, learn about the conservation of these turtles; witness the collecting of eggs from the nesting site, planting them in the hatchery and see baby turtles scrambling to the open sea upon released on the shore. Overnight stay at the island chalet, room with attach bathroom. (Meals Included: Lunch/Dinner) 

Selingan Island

Selingan Island, part of the Turtle Islands Park in Sabah, Malaysia, is a protected sanctuary dedicated to sea turtle conservation. Known for its pristine beaches and clear waters, the island offers visitors a rare opportunity to witness green and hawksbill turtles nesting and hatchlings making their way to the sea. With limited accommodations and a peaceful setting, Selingan Island provides a unique and eco-friendly wildlife experience.

06:30 AM check out, have breakfast and embark for another boat ride back to the mainland Sandakan. Proceed drive for about half an hour to Sepilok Orang-Utan Rehabilitation Centre where orphaned and injured Orang-Utan brought to Sepilok to be rehabilitated to return and fend for themselves back to the wild. Take a short boat transfer to Borneo Nature Lodge, have lunch and check in. Relax by the river before embarking by boat up-river at 04:00 PM along Sabah's longest river, Kinabatangan in its virgin rainforest habitat. Search for some of the primates species including the endemic Proboscis Monkeys as they settle down on treetops. Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the best places in Southeast Asia to observe wildlife. Overnight at Borneo Nature Lodge. (Meals Included: Lunch & Dinner) 

Sepilok

Sepilok, in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, is famed for its lush rainforest and iconic wildlife conservation efforts. It is home to the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, where rescued orphaned orangutans are nurtured and released back into the wild. Visitors can also explore the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre and scenic nature trails, making Sepilok a must-visit destination for eco-tourists and wildlife enthusiasts.

Fly back to Kota Kinabalu and transfer to Gaya Island for an overnight hotel stay on Gaya Island Resort.
